Take in the most spectacular views of the Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Waterfront standing at a height of 22 meters above the ground, from the Gardens by the Bay OCBC Skyway. Surrounded by the towering Supertrees of the Supertree Grove, this aerial walkway is a whole different experience at the Gardens.
Supported only by two of the Supertrees, the Gardens by the Bay Skywalk is a 128 meter long serial walkway and a stroll along this path gives you the sensation of floating in the air. This is because when you walk on this aerial walkway it sways a little. The Skywalk is a fantastic spot if you are looking for a peaceful spot from where you can get a view of the whole Garden and its amazing structures, domes and landscaped surroundings. The Skywalk also gets you up close to the Supertrees and learn about how the structures harness solar energy to support the magnificent lighting that it showcases every evening.
In the evenings the Supertrees are lit up and the OCBC Skyway is illuminated with the dancing decorative lights. The aerial walkway is also a great place from where you can enjoy the 'Garden Rhapsody' , a light and sound show that is performed every evening at the Gardens.

The best time to visit the Gardens by the Bay OCBC Skyway is in the late afternoons and you can end your trip with the Garden Rhapsody music and light show at the Supertree Grove. The Skywalk offers the best view of the show.

The closest attractions to OCBC Skyway at the Gardens by the Bay are the towering Supertrees of the Supertree Grove, the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest and the Supertree Observatory. The Supertrees are massive vertical gardens that house a vast selection of plant varieties from around the world and they also harness solar energy for all the lighting of the Gardens, they are exhaust towers for the conservatories nearby and also collect rainwater.
The Flower Dome is a seashell-shaped, cooled conservatory that holds the world record for being the largest glass greenhouse while the Cloud Forest is a phenomenal attraction showcasing the tallest indoor waterfall and a massive mountain clad with unique varieties from the plant kingdom. The Supertree Observatory is the highest point in the Gardens and offers an unobstructed 360° view of the Gardens and Marina Bay skyline.
The Flower Dome is a cooled conservatory where flowers and plants from different habitats across 6 continents are brought together under one roof. The structure of the Flower Dome itself is worthy of mention as it holds the Guinness world record for the largest greenhouse. It is covered with 3332 glass panels and maintains a temperature range between 23 - 25 degrees Celsius at all times. The Flower Dome has been divided into several gardens that replicate the habitat of different regions such as the Australian Desert, The Mediterranean Basin, The African Savannah, South America and a few others.
The Cloud Forest is a modern Greenhouse that showcases a variety of plants native to tropical highlands across the globe. Some of the most striking features of the Cloud Forest are a 25 meter indoor waterfall, linked walkways that lets you explore the multiple levels of exhibit, a massive man-made mountain covered in plants and a huge sea shell shaped dome. Your journey of exploration of the Cloud Forest starts from the top of the mountain where you find delicate ferns and mosses. Next level comes the epiphytes, rhododendrons and anthuriums. Next comes the Cloud Forest gallery where natural cloud forests in different parts of the world are getting destroyed due to global warming. Your journey ends at the Secret Garden where you find plants native to cave environments and miniature orchids.
Floral Fantasy is undoubtedly the most colorful and vibrant attraction of the Gardens by the Bay. It is divided into 4 sections - Dance, Float, Waltz and Drift - where each section has a different theme. The setup of the Floral Fantasy is a mix of live plants as well as cut and preserved blooms. The arrangement of these flowers is truly picture perfect. The entire space maintains a temperature of 2e - 25 degree Celsius and the spaces are home to over 15,000 upside down flowers in vibrant colors. 5here is also a Vivarium where you can find colorful poison dart frogs.
The Supertree Observatory is perched on top of the tallest Supertree at the Supertree Grove. At 50 meters above the ground, the open air rooftop deck gives a 360 degrees view of the Marina Bay Area. A lift concealed within the trunk of the Supetree takes visitors to the top of the observatory. The observatory has two main areas:
Garden Rhapsody is a popular light and sound show that is held at the Supertree Grove in the Gardens by the Bay. The show is performed twice daily and show timings are 7:45pm and 8:45pm. The show is free of cost and the music is an amazing combination of classical, pop and other types of music.
The Gardens by the Bay OCBC Skyway is a 128 meter long aerial walkway which is supported and enveloped by two of the Supetrees in The Supertree Grove. It is suspended at 22 meters above the ground and gives the sensation of walking on air. Since it is so high above the ground and supported only by the Supertree the Skyway starts to sway when you walk on it. The OCBC Skyway also gives an unobstructed view of the Gardens by the Bay as well as the Marina Bay waterfront. As soon as the sunsets, the OCBC Skyway is illuminated with a colorful lighting of the Supertree Grove providing the best photo opportunity for visitors.
It takes about 15 minutes to explore the entire stretch of the Gardens by the Bay Skywalk.
The opening hours of the OCBC Skyway is 9am to 9pm, daily. Last admission at 8 :30 pm and the recommended duration of the visit is 15 minutes.
The OCBC Skyway can be visited any time of the day between 9am to 9pm. However, if you also want to catch the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show then the best time to visit the OCBC Skyway is in the late afternoon.
